My machine works almost perfectly. One last thing that's not working always is shutting the system down. It restarts instead. I followed the usual tips in the guide: wake on lan off and FixShutdown checked in Clover.

Are there other things I can check and try?

Also make sure wake on lan is disabled in Bios

Here is my ioreg!

Your issue is caused by NVMeGeneric.kext. Remove it and use patched IONVMeFamily.kext instead.

Details here: https://github.com/RehabMan/patch-nvme

Note, you have a few other issues with your setup.
- AppleMEIDriver not loaded
- HECI should be named IMEI
- USB port limit patch should not be used long term

Thank you, RehabMan! I first fixed the NMVe issue and shut down works fine now. Time to look at the other issues now!

@RehabMan

I added the HECI to IMEI patch to Clover DSDT and that made my boot time faster too; a nice bonus! Also removed the USB port limit patch and all ports still work.

Last thing is the AppleMEIDriver; how do I know it's loaded? I can't find more info here on the forum or on Google. Some pointers would be highly appreciated!

I checked the ioreg myself and now I can see that renaming HECI to IMEI made AppleIntelMEIDriver appear in the file.

Thx, RehabMan!
