Hi hi everyone,
i recently finished building my very first hackintosh succesful (yes, user-build thread is coming soon when i have the time)
It works flawlessly. It boots correct and sleep mode is working, too.
Only problem i encounter: when ever i do an update of installation which requires a restart
the restart itself freezes while booting up. It freezes BEFORE the grey apple boot screen should come up.
All i see is a black screen with a underlined backslash blinking in the upper left corner of the screen.
After a forced reboot everything works, so it's not a serious problem. But it's annoying and i'd like to fix that.
Anyone got an idea, why it does that?
My system specs are:
i5-2500K
GA-Z68XP-UD3 with F9
Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 1GB
16 GB RAM 1666Mhz (Corsair vengeance)
OCZ Agility 3 120GB SSD (Boot Drive)
Samsung F3 1TB HDD
Hope this is enough to have an insight.
