Happy new year everybody!
For christmas I treated myself to a new 4K display (ASUS PB287Q) for my hackintosh (GeForce GTX 670 GPU). During the holidays I tried to install and configure everything but remained with two annoying problems.
First of all I'm stuck on 30 Hz refresh rate on full resolution, even though I connected the display to the GPU via Display Port. The GPU officially supports DP 1.2 but I'm not sure how to check if it is really activated. The second problem concerns resolution-scaling. With full 3840x2160 resolution all GUI elements appear really, really small. Possibly too small to get accustomed to, I'm not quite sure yet. Is there a way to scale up all those elements to retain the crisp look of the 4K resolution but with larger GUI elements?
I hope somebody is able to help.
Cheers and thanks in advance,
zuup
