Hello guys, first of all, my dualboot specs:

-i5 3570K
-Z77 DS3H 1.0
-Nvidia GTX PNY 660ti
-2x 4gb Corsair Ram
-SAMSUNG 22'' 1080 Native
-Other stuff.....

Am running dualboot W8 and Mavericks flawlessly, everything works even after update to 10.9.4, the only thing i can't fix is i still cant find a way to put my resolution to 1080p, i tried everything i could find on the forums with no luck, even using the most basic way to choose from scale settings the 1080p i get two 4cm bands around the screen.

Ill try to illustrate it with the following img (attach).

(Extra Info: I do 1080p gaming on windows perfectly & My resolution was fine back in Lion, then clean install mavericks and puff..)

Thanks!

Have you already tried specifying the resolution manually in org.chameleon.boot.plist?

Code:
<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>1920x1080</string>

Of course, enter your own native resolution that your monitor supports.

Thanks dude, but that's the first thing i did, it didnt make any difference, actually my resolution is set to 1920x1080 but it has those two black borders like i said :(

See post #3 of this Thread - It may work for you too.
Worth a try anyway.

Good Luck
