Resolution is fixed at 1024x768

Hey guys, i just got my hackintosh up and running but my resolution is fixed at the resolution above. It says No kext loaded and my device ID is 0x6818 and my vendor is ATI (0x1002). It would be great if someone could help me.

My most recent build did the same thing. Try editing the org.chameleon.Boot.plist and see if that helps. I was able to get it to 1400x1050 (at least it's a higher resolution) as my only option even though when I edited the plist to be 1920x1080. Has anyone else had issues here and been able to fix them?

When you boot into Chimera (hit the Spacebar) and hit the SpaceBar (again) and insert the following in the "boot:" window/line:

Graphics Mode=HOR-RESxVERT-RESx32​

Then hit Return

In the /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist file, use a text editor like TextEdit to insert:
<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>HOR-RESxVERT-RESx32</string>
