Hello,

In the console, I have 2 errors coming every 10 seconds.

ReportCrash[166]: failed looking up LS service ( scCreateSystemService returned MACH_PORT_NULL, called from SetupCoreApplicationServicesCommunicationPort, so using client-side NULL calls.

ReportCrash[166]: LaunchServices/5123589: Unable to lookup coreservices session port for session 0x186a0 uid=0 euid=0

Does anyone know what it is? On apple.com they talk about using
Mountain Lion Cache Cleaner but I don't know if I can do that with a Hackintosh.

Thank you,

Kextd and Kextcache are continually crashing... also a possibly related symptom is that when this all started I lost the ability to connect to SMB and AFP network shares. Everything with my hackintosh was seemingly fine until a couple of days ago when this started.

Anyone got any clues where to begin here? I've been trying everything I can for days... no luck.

Bumping to the top again. Seriously someone has to know what's up with this... I need to be able to connect to my SMB and AFP shares.

It just gets worse. Didn't even realize until now that my Windows partitions are unmountable in OS X. So I did a test with a flash drive in disk utility. It was formatted HFS, mounted fine. Tried formatting it in exFAT, FAT32, NTFS... won't mount after erasing in either of those formats. Format it HFS again, mounts fine.

The bundles that provide read/write support for filesystems all exist in the same place: System/Library/Filesystems

Could is be that this folder has just taken a **** on me? Seems likely. I'm going to keep testing things.

try disable spotlight in everywhere except your root partition.

helped a bit for me here.

sudo mdutil -da I think, and then sudo mdutil -i on /

Updated my system to DSDT patches with various fixes (IBPM, USB, SMbus fixes etc), and moved to mini6,1 smbios. So far so good for the past week. yeah, it's a constant battle. Once the launchd goes dark, everything goes bust.

So do you know how to get rid of this message?
