Not completely sure if this is the right place to post this.
Hello everyone!
My main and only Hackintosh machine uses an AMD Radeon 6850 card as GPU (for the other specs, check profile on the left). It runs on OSX 10.10 Yosemite. I updated to El Capitan once but AMD cards currently have sleep issues on 10.11 that prevent the Hackintosh to go into sleep mode or wake up from sleep properly. This is quite a big issue for me because I use the sleep mode very often, so I went back to Yosemite.
However, and 'old' PC which I have laying around here uses an NVIDIA GTX 650 Ti 1GB.
Is it worth it to swap the cards, or will it most likely only cause more problems than it solves?
I hope some of you can give me their view.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers, Thij.
