Remove WLAN module from macbook

Greetings. I don't know if this is the right section for this question. If not, please move it to the appropriate one.

My question is, can you remove the Wlan/Airport card from the Macbook's logic board without affecting its normal operation? So MacOS functions in all other software except accessing a wireless network.

I am considering the 12" fanless Macbook as a portable work machine and I would like to avoid any unnecessary distractions like accessing the internet all the time.

IIRC it is not a card but integrated into the logic board.
You may be able to achieve your aim by disconnecting the antenna though.

Could you explain to me what exactly is the IIRC?

Removing the antenna is actually what I thought too. It is possible with the Thinkpad laptops according to this video: https://support.lenovo.com/gr/en/videos/pd027011?cl=1
