Refusing new kext's and kextd stall

I tried with the EFI Unified R5.1.7 (Catalina), everything boots nicely but the update couldn't be installed.

Then I thought maybe you meant the newest Clover EFI for High Sierra and now the machine is in boot loop and I can't go to the OS anymore.

No, just use 5.1.7. Please boot in verbose mode and post picture of where it stops.

It may also help if you re-do your USB installer and/or switch to a different USB flash drive.

Disconnect your other drive(s) while you install.

Tried and no use, I've attached a series of pictures in .zip file of the whole progress from start to finish

What update are you referring to?

I was trying to update High Sierra's some few Gb sized software update, I think it was security update or something.



The AppStore is now notifying a Software Update (Security Update 2020-001 10.13.6) to be updated, should I go for it?
