Hi There,

I am working on my second build and Mavericks install is not coming up. I am hoping someone can suggest something.

Build thread: http://www.tonymacx86.com/buying-advice/120723-2nd-build-advice-small-quiet-i5-build.html

Part list:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4440 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H87N-WIFI Mini ITX LGA1150 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LP 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Crucial M500 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk
Storage: Western Digital WD Green 2TB 3.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive
Case: Fractal Design FD-CA-NODE-304-WH Mini ITX Desktop Case
PSU: Be Quiet Pure Power L8-CM 430W PSU

Since I have all compatible parts (I believe) I am following the guide for Mavericks. I created the USB stick with my Snow Leopard Hackintosh and want to do a fresh install on this new PC.

Even though I believe that it should work straight away judging at the guide information (http://www.tonymacx86.com/374-unibeast-install-os-x-mavericks-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html).

The system boots fine to UniBeast and I can enter boot options, I have tried:

-v
-x
-v -x
PCIRootUID=0
PCIRootUID=0 GraphicsEnabler=No

Not sure what else to try, I took a picture of the last messages on verbose as well as how the screen goes after that.

Any help would be great.

Cheers!

Hi, I am working on my hackintosh too and i get the same problem. I have the same CPU, i5 4440. Are you running your video through on board HDMI?

I have the same problem here.
Tho i have a different motherboard B85M-HD3 but same processor i5 4440.
I tried already HDMI and VGA.
I had my system running with a i3 4130 but this has only HD4400 whitch is not supported so i bought the 4440. I changed the MB (same type) and the CPU and now i can't start and even when i try to install from frech i get an error of the CPU not being supported..
Strange..

Got it working..
HDMI worked just fine, just don't connect the VGA also..
