Recommendations for Intel Processor and Motherboard with DSDT on Tonymac86.com

Hi guys,

Does anyone have any recommendations for an Intel Processor and motherboard that is still available to buy online and has the DSDT on tonymacx86.com , for a mackintosh to use for music production to use logic pro x.

I have a Intel processor i7 - 950 first generation, but there is no motherboards in my area that have a 1366 socket, neither does this processor allow the "memory type ram" of 1600 , especially the 1366 motherboards with DSDT files on Tonymacx86.com i cannot find online.... plus i checked out the spec and performance of this processor which is pretty much 4 years outdated now in terms of today's processors.

budget is £400 UK pounds so around $650 US Dollars for both processor and motherboard.

So if any recommendations from you guys would be grateful or tips or advice.


As of now i have :

• Corsair DDR3 1600 12GB 4x each stick
• noctua DH-14 Processor Cooler that can be used for motherboard sockets :

LGA1366, LGA1156, LGA1155, LGA1150, LGA775

With the 1155 Ivy Bridge CPU and later boards, a DSDT is not needed unless you want audio over HDMI.
Suggest you look at the Buyer's Guides for November and December 2013 or wait for January 2014 guide and pick parts from that.
