Hi,

I've successfully installed Catalina 2 days ago. I was installing a few software today. After a necessary restart, the machine refuses to boot macOS anymore. It instantly reboots when the Apple logo appears. Out of the blue.
I've made the USB mapping properly, as well as the iGPU patching.

I've booted a copy of the SSD EFI from a USB Stick with -v.
It gets stuck here, and the prohibited sign appears after a minute.

EFI attached.

What I have done wrong?
Thanks for your time and your help!

usb issue

set this to disable:
XhciPortLimit from config.plist

oh, and remove the 2 other usb kexts that you are not using

EFI cleaned. XhciPortLimit disabled.

It doesn't change anything.
Sometimes the last line shows "matching deferred", sometimes it doesn't.

What could be the reason for that sudden behavior?

also reset nvram when you make any changes to your efi

What do you mean?

The screengrab you posted showed errors with USB configuration and the XHCI controller.

In post #1 you said: "I've made the USB mapping properly..."

That was my surprise.

In post #6 you said: "Not sure that's a choice."

Why not?

Well, then I missed something on the process.

Okay.

So, boot your PC with the USB installer drive you created originally. That should get you back into your system. No need to run the installer again, just select your main drive from the boot menu.

Next -
What software were you installing when the PC became unable to boot?

I made it to the OS using USBInjectAll. The mapping was working but it has failed after a day or something.
I've seen people using a couple of kexts together (like InjectAll, USBPort, USBPort-All). Any reason for that?

I was installing DAW and AAX plugins.
