Hey guys, had my internet working with a broadcom 802.11n airport card but didn't have ethernet working
I installed the Realtek kext through multibeast and now both my airport and my ethernet don't work!!
I get a line of 8 or 9 errors in a row in verbose mode:
"waves soundgrid error ethernet interfaces" or something
("waves soundgrid" is part of an audiounit package)

Anyone think they know what's going on?

Update:
Networks in system preferences doesnt even open, just freezes system prefs
Card definitely still works, tested another OSX drive i just switched from a month ago

Even after removing the Realtek kext the broadcom airport isnt recognized? (its one of the official apple broadcom chips)

another update here:

the ethernet card is a broadcom bcm432b
"No Airport Card Installed" error in the menubar
Again this can't be a hardware issue because i have 2 osx drives in the computer and the other one boots and runs the airport fine

I deleted Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration and can now access the Network preferences pane in system preferences, but nothing still shows up of course

I'll carry on this post for anyone interested hahah!
I FIXED IT!
I installed an older IONetworkingFamily.kext which I had installed a few months ago(did have my airport working without it before the realtek issue)
and now I've got my airport working again thank goodness.
No ethernet though, but I'm ok with that for now :)
