Thank you all.

Using MB 6.1 for my 898 audio fixed the "no audio after sleep" issue.

Spoke to early  fixing the permissions didn't solve the issue.

Installing the Multibeast 6.1 Realtek drivers solved this for me too (on a Gigaybte GA-H87-D3H motherboard which has a ALC892 audio codec):

Driver > Audio > Without DSDT > ALC892

Hope this helps!

But this seems to be holding fine atm. Thank you!

Installing ALC 898 from Multibeast 6.1.0 solved the problem for me

1. Downloaded Multibeast 6.1.0 and opened it
2. Selected Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > Without DSDT ALC898
(HDA Enabler selected automatically)
3. Build > Install

Realtek ALC 892 No sound after sleep [10.9.2] & [10.9.3]

Same problem with 10.9.3. using Realtek 892 & HDEF patch in DSDT.
Had to use old 6.1 Multibeast driver to fix no sound after sleep.

I thought 10.9.3+MB 6.2.1 was fine, but yesterday I got the issue (I rarely use sleep).
If it happens again, I will go back to MB 6.1.0.

What about VoodooHDA? any experiences?
