I think i've tried all the tricks, but I've still got a really laggy, choppy, slow chrome. And since I am a web developer and 95% of my day is spent in Chrome, it's come to the point where I am about to give up. What should I do?

- Go back to Sierra?
- Sell 1080TI and switch to AMD?
- Buy a real Mac?
- Keep waiting it out?
- Try XYZ solution (that I haven't heard of)?

If there are better options, please let me know. The main reason I haven't already tried AMD or a real Mac is because I dual boot and like to game with my kids.

I used to get the same with my 1060 before I switched to AMD the other day. I turned off hardware acceleration in chrome and the lag was instantly gone.

I'm using a GTX1080Ti with a Maximus IX Hero and 10.13.4 with the 387.10.10.10.30.103 nVidia drivers. There is not noticeable lag on anything here. I never use Chrome but Safari and Firefox are smooth. Can you record a short video that demonstrates that lag?

The rest of the OS is fine, it's really a Chrome/Nvidia driver issue from what I can tell. I'll see if I can make up a video.
