"Real" Wi-Fi card is not fast enough. Broadcom BCM94322MC

I have the same Broadcom card and I am also experiencing low speeds. Any solution for this problem?

I had the same problem, the solutions is quite simple. My problem was that the PCI-E adapter that i purchased came with a really cheap antenna, replace that with one from a spare router or purchase a high baud antenna and you will notice a large improvement in the connection.

Has anyone else tried purchasing a new antenna? I tried a few different antennas from some of the routers I have, but seen no increase in speeds.

nickhu, can you link the antenna you bought?

Can't complain about my wired internet, faster than 98% of US :)

Right now, I'm connecting via 802.11b, so max speed 11Mbps.
Other wifi connection like 802.11a/g can have max speed of 54Mbps.

I'll see if my wireless router need configuring.
My "real airport" card can support 802.11 a/b/g/n but can't remember how I setup my wifi router.

UPDATE: HA! I realized my wifi router is only set to "b" mode. I changed it to "g" mode and now my wireless speed has improved. 4X increase in download and upload speed.

If you have an "n" capable wifi router, you can achieve higher speeds. 100Mbps.
