[README] 10.11.6 security update 2017-003

Thank you. This Clover update lets me install the 2017-03 update on my i5-5200U.

Yeah, and for later versions of Clover, I rewrote the KernelPm code to make it more dynamic in hopes that it will work in future versions without changes. Time will tell.

This update, combined with certain CPUs (Haswell, Broadwell likely) requires updates to Clover.

Read here for details:
http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/306156-clover-bugissue-report-and-patch/page-121#entry2475823

I have attached CLOVERX64.efi which has the fix.
Copy to EFI/Clover/CLOVERX64.efi and EFI/BOOT/BOOTX64.efi (on EFI partition, of course).

Official Clover builds on sourceforge will have the fix in r4147 or later.

okay, i tried to copy this file, but still i can't go to my desktop, just hanging on there.

Hello Rehabman. Never thought I was going to consult for something like this. Twenty days ago I was a victim of this security update. Everything resolved after you posted the solution. Today I just realized that cannot boot into Windows. The Mac part works great. I have the suspicion that there is a problem with bootmgfw-orig.efi. Any ideas or suggestions?

Please disregard this entry. Indeed bootmgfw-orig.efi was corrupted. I replace it and now is working. Thanks

Hi!

Yes today.
No login window. Maybe a new video card driver should be?
I had backup, i restore OS.

After installing 10.11.6 security update, I can't boot my El capitan.
I have done all things rehabman told us -
Copying CLOVERX64.efi to EFI/Clover/CLOVERX64.efi and EFI/BOOT/BOOTX64.efi.

I took a picture regarding my problem.
here it is.

Need help~~

Shiki.kext is crashing. Remove it.

Note: Your backtrace shows Shiki.kext 1.5. Current version built from source is 2.2.6.
