Without wireless card: manual sleep does work (including correctly waking up etc.), but the auto sleep (set in energy saver) does still not work. The display turns blank, but the pc stays on, and does not go sleeping.

I really don't know whats the problem.
Using Apple USB Mighty Mouse and Apple USB Keyboard (small without numblock, alu version)

This little app you can setup to force an autosleep. I know it's only a band aid but it will work until someone finds a DSDT fix.

I think mine is related to my LG BruRay Drive.

Same Problem here. Auto Sleep was working fine until i replaced my old LG DVD RW with a LG BH10LS30 BluRay Burner Combo Drive.

The Best Solution for broken Auto Sleep is this Script :

it works very close to §vanilla Auto Sleep" and better then apps like PleaseSleep

Agreed! This is the best auto-sleep fix I've found that really works!

hi guys...

no autosleep here, even with a sony optiarc bd rw bd-5300s.
we may need a dsdt fix for this...


with a dvd in drive, autosleep works
drive disconnected from sata, autosleep works too

tonymac any suggestions?!?!
