Once (or twice) a day my HP ProBook 4530s randomly freezing after update OS to Maverick. Freezing all OS include cursor and etc.
External usb connect only one - Logitech Mouse M235.
Freezing exist always in google chrome (but his opening and use 95% of all time)
In system logs i see nothing, except strange errors about touchpad:
11.12.13 15:13:42,000 kernel[0]: ApplePS2SynapticsTouchPad: Unexpected byte0 data (08) from PS/2 controller
This errors arise only then i touch my touchpad. I think they do not affect the freeze.
Maybe i look in another place in logs? Where i may get critical errors in console?
And what i should do in this situation? How kick off this freezing?

I have same problem with you. If you see your trackpad is acting weird (it means ApplePS2SynapticsTouchPad: Unexpected byte0 data is flooding your Console), turn off/on your trackpad again to fix it temporarily. Then, shutdown your computer and do EC reset. It can help you reduce the error for a long time.

RehabMan is working for a fix.

Thanks for reply! But i really think what this error has no relation to freezing.

I get some restart with it. Do an EC reset and it's fine now.

Allright! I make it. System logs now clean. Lets see on freezing in next few days. I'll write here about any changes. Thanks! :)
