Hi everyone,

I’m having troubles with trackpad in High Sierra but also in Windows 10, it isn’t detected at all.
It was working fine a few hours ago and nothing has changed though.
I noticed however the trackpad was working in the xiaomi boot manager.

On top of this I am experiencing crash due to my Nvme drive.
I also had theses crashes in my previous tries of installing High Sierra but I thought I fixed the issue because the first hours on High Sierra went flawlessly.

At the same time I can’t login anymore to my windows 10 partition due to « failed sign-in attempts or repeated shutdown » says windows. I have to wait 2 hours before I can login. I don’t know if all theses issues are linked or not.
Any Ideas what could be the problem ?

I attached a debug.zip

thank you for your help,

I am now stuck on prohibitory sign at booting...
it happened just after installing VoodooPS2Controller and FakeSMC kexts on system volume.
I tried to uninstalled both of them from my usb boot key with terminal targeting my drive but apparently nothing changed.

This is my verbose mode attached.

Perhaps you forgot to install SATA-unsupported.kext.

I just installed SATA-unsupported.kext via my bootable usb key, still the same issue at start-up.

So I tried to uninstall both FakeSMC.kext and VoodooPS2 controller from L/E but I have the same problem.
I am not sure if I can delete kexts using "rm -Rf" from the bootable key because I still can see the kext file I tried to delete (with "ls -R") in the extensions folder in my internal drive.

I still got the same text in verbose mode

You can try to inject kexts and/or boot from your USB Clover.
Otherwise, you can start over and try not to make the same mistake.

My Injectkext seemed to be "Yes", I should have checked this before trying to install FakeSMC.kext and VoodooPS2 on system.
So I guess there is a conflict between my kext in systems and those on my EFI partition ?

Hello again !
So I fixed the prohibitory sign issue, I still have the random crashes,

each report seems to indicate a problem linked to my ssd drive.

I couldn’t understand what was wrong about the drive but I tried several things :

-injecting Sata-unsupported kext but I still got crashes

-tried also this https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-hackrnvmefamily-co-existence-with-ionvmefamily-using-class-code-spoof.210316/ but I stopped because it’s not needed for High Sierra.

I would be happy to have some help on this one :)

My mac OS is installed on a Samsung 970 evo

I also have a windows partition on another ssd sold with the laptop (Samsung MZVLB256HAHQ).

thank you,
