Hi. Im using a mac pro 1.1 right now and I'm planning to build a hackintosh to replace it. Now I'm struggling over getting a motherboard with 8 slots of memory so i can have 64gb of ram or get a motherboard that has 4 slots with 32gb or ram. I like gaming and i do some video rendering. I plan to use the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 4GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3-WAY SLI Gaming Graphics Card because its 3 graphics cards that are all the same model and are water cooled. Now just by looking at the motherboard that i already chose and the graphics cards. I know it will cover all the other PCIe ports on the motherboard making future upgrading in that area impossible. Should I stick with the current motherboard or should I look for another motherboard thats has its ports more spaced out for future upgrading.
