This build is currently running with the new Gigabyte UEFI bios without a DSDT. I am running OS X 10.8.2 without any issues. I already owned most of the components except for the motherboard, processor and graphics cards. All parts were purchased on Newegg except for the graphics cards, which were purchased from a friend. In Multibeast I selected the following options:

Everything is working 100% with this build. Sleep/wake functions properly as does the ethernet and sound.

The two XFX 5770's are driving one 20 inch Dell 2005FPW and two 17 inch Dell 1704FPT displays. I picked all three up at a garage sale for less than $200.

The inside of the case was powder coated flat black. Excuse the lack of cable management as I am still working on the case interior and cable routing.

Overall, this machine has been very solid, and so far I have had no issues. I mainly use this machine for web design and light gaming (mostly World of Warcraft). Unfortunately though OS X does not use all three monitors and all games are maximized only on the center display. I have recently ordered a 128GB Samsung SSD and hope that will increase my performance.

Looks good but for audio. If you have a dsdt selected in multi beast why is the audio on Non Dsdt ALC889?

Just curious. My mobo is somewhat the same (Z68) and I chose Audio>DSDt>alc889

Actually with the UEFI bios you do not need a DSDT file, thus the audio driver without DSDT. The first selection is for DSDT or DSDT-Free installation, in which I am using a DSDT-Free install.

Just curious as to what you changed in the Bios? If you changed anything or did you load optimized defaults?
Thanks, Im just having some issues with my configuration.
