Radeon RX 560 on 10.13.4 macOS High Sierra

ok finished testing and I changed the old board smbios to iMac Pro and I was able to boot but still no acceleration
I change the smbios in the EUFI board to matched the smbios of the bios board and I still have acceleration
so that shoots the smbios theory out the windows

so it has to be the CPU that's why we have to change the telemetry file
yes we are able to boot the system but still some features are missing

so even if we have a supported card maybe the features that are missing from the CPU or the instructions set are necessary or need it in order to activate metal support

or is just that bios boards are simply incompatible with Mojave
when it comes to Graphic cards acceleration

anyway anyone with a core2quad or newer can easily test this and report back
for now is just EUFI only until further testing is done in bios only boards

regards and merry Christmas

Thanks a lot for your support. It's time to update my CPU, mobo and RAM!

Best regards and merry Christmas

SSE4.2 instruction set.

There’s another site that has core2duo working they may be using telemetry and coredisplay kext replacements.
can you send me a link or tell me what words to search for

so you don't have to post any links, I have to return this computer tonight.

so I only have a few hours left to try that suggestion

"The newer AMD drivers used in Mojave require the SSE4.2 instruction set"

however older Nvidia cards that are natively supported with out the need of web drivers work perfectly fine with bios boards and Mojave

apple has such of mess

newer Nvidia cards are not working because there are no web drivers yet

the core display kext that you mentioned, you mean taking the one from high Sierra and putting it in Mojave?

Give me a few minutes

Give me a few minutes
don't worry disregard that, I got it, I'm working on it right now, I remember doing that process to enable some old Nvidia cards
that the person had to install an Nvidia kext and change core display to make old Nvidia cards work on Mojave
now I remember, I know how to change the core display from the framework folder

I was extracting the file from my High Sierra back up, I'm ready to give it a try just like you said
"give me a few minutes"

be back soon with the results
thanks for pointing this out and reminding me about this, hope this is the file that it needs
the bios board is not my board but I will like to do it anyway
just to make a friend happy because he wants Mojave

Sorry,

but can this help me too?

I could not yet try Gigamaxx' advice of removing CPUID 0x0106E0 but I will try as soon as possible.
