Ok sorry if I took too much time, but I had a lot of troubles with the boot loader and had to reinstall all, windows included.
I ran both radeon_bios_decode and redsock_bios_decoder with this result:
Code:
iMac:VBIOS RADEON R7 360 andrea$ ./radeon_bios_decode < vBIOS.rom

Hopefully this will give enough info on resolving the frame buffer issue

Ok I tried many combinations with no luck at all. Different framebuffers with different id spoofings, patches and so on. No luck.
I'm giving up. Hopefully in the future somebody will read this and come up with a solution for this graphic board's model.

Regards

Sorry, forgot to answer:

Go to techpowerup and download the ROM of a different R7 360 with the same connectors. You can use the output above to ensure the port mapping is physically the same ("txmit", "enc" and "sense id").
If it is, use Clover's "LoadVBIOS" feature to load that ROM on boot, instead of your stock ROM.

Thanks for the hint.
Unfortunately there's no bios of another R7 360 brand on techpowerup. Seems like this gpu is abandoned in the hackintosh scene.

Edit: nevermind, I found it. I try as soon as I can and let it noticed here.

How do I verify if the vbios has been loaded? I'm checking "load vBios" from clover and placing the rom on ROM folder in the EFI partition, renamed as 1002_665F.rom (where 665F is the real ID of the gpu. Do I have to spoof to something else? And in this case, do I have to rename the rom accordingly?).
As far as now, I tried different roms and seems nothing's working, but it's very likely I'm doing something wrong.

Any result about this XFX R7 360 Core Edition? If it is not a brick, which VBIOS do you ended up using from TechPowerUp? A link would be nice. My AMD8000 kext is screwed as I was fooling around. I am already on 10.12.6, still run the combo update to get it back?

Seconded - any feedback on this? Did it ever work with the XFX R7 360 card?

Try with a modern MacOS with a better driver support situation?
