Radeon Compatibility Guide - ATI/AMD Graphics Cards

What about your Drivers folder? Do you use one?

No I have no drivers folder..

Do I need a never clover version ?

No you can just add the folder and drivers manually, if you are comfortable doing so.

I have attached a generic drivers folder from Clover_r5119, which you can add to your CLOVER folder.

Guys, is there any news about RX 6700 XT support in macOS?
Asking, because sitting here with one and almost returning it to the store. If there is no mac, there is no use for it...

Rumor has it that the 6600 series will get support in the next few days. 8/11?
But there is no mention of the 6700 series yet.
It may be possible to spoof the ID to get 6600 kexts working, but there is no guaranty that will happen. Fingers crossed in hopes that they add proper 6700 drivers soon.

I have been connecting a 4K display (Philips 276E8VJSB) to Radeon HD 7850 via Mini DisplayPort for days. 3840 × 2160 @ 60Hz works well.

This is very impressive for a graphics card released in 2012.

Thanks for a pinch of hope.

But how it would be possible to spoof the ID, if 6600 is BigNavi 23 and 6700 is BigNavi 22? Or thay are not so diferent as BigNavi 22 and BigNavi 21 (6800&6900)?

When the RX 460 support came in Sierra we were able to use RX 480 cards but they ran on the 460 drivers and we had 14 CUs (compute units) instead of the 480s normal 36 CUs. They worked but they were not used to full capacity. Apple eventually released proper 480 drivers.
So it may be possible to use the lesser driver, however Apple has made the drivers tougher to spoof these days. It may also not work but only time will tell.

Can someone tell me if my amd radeon r9 270 is compatible with any Mac OS I’m trying to build one and have had this graphics card just sitting here… thanks for any help in advance!
