I do not know. I do not have that issue with IGPU disabled.
You may want to look at enabling HVEC features in the 4250 driver using the X4250.kext. Search the graphics post here.
 
I have a pretty good deal on a "Radeon Pro Vega WX9100".

Does this card work in High Sierra?

Got my hands on 10.13.4 beta 3 and my RX 560 is working really good, without whatever green, lilu, deinit.

It is just plug and play.

Hdmi audio is working.

In ioreg RX 560 is using AMDRadeonX4000 kext.

To fix the OpenCL core after YT video play, you'll have to enable both IGPU and DGPU.

Thanks. Do you mind if I ask you a few questions? Not sure which OS you are currently on but you have similar hardware to me. I currently run El Capitan but just got a Nitro+ RX 580 gpu and plan on updating to High Sierra with the new card very soon. I'm not sure about a few things. I plan on using Final Cut Pro 10.4 a lot so I need the graphics card to be very compatible.

What system definition? imac 14,2? My hardware is a Gigabyte z97 board with an i7-4790K.
Enable igpu for Quick Sync hardware acceleration?
If so, which settings would help enable that?
Any other settings to help with an AMD card? I've only had Nvidia cards so I'm new to this.
Anything else I should know?

Is Radeon pro vega WX 9100 able to run in High Sierra? It seems similar to Frontier edition.
 
So do we have any fix for VEGA fan speed issue so far?
