Quicklook Doesn't Preview jpgs, mp3 nor mp4.

(i use a mac pro 6,1 smbios with a 18,3 bios version and 18,3 board id, in that case it is GFX1).


you need to do:

heci -> imei patch
gfx0 to igpu patch
pegp to gfx1 patch

inject 0x59120003 ig-platform-id (graphics)
inject IntelGFX 0x59128086 (devices)

after that you can delete:

  • board-id-check patch for black screen
  • 0x000906EA FakeCPUID for Airplay

I tried your fix but the quicksync doesn't work after sleep. And I also need the board-id-check patch in order to log into macOS.
We have almost the same hardware and still something is different...
 
6,1 pro with 18,3 bios version and board id.

Btw, how did you come up with such a mix?^^
 
It is, this has been the smoothest hackintosh OS upgrade ever!

Could you please explain the renames?
I don't have the most of the stuff in my ioreg so why rename it then?


I only have XHC..so EH0x is not necessary and my XHC is XHC by default.
Why did you remove EC0_ to EC__?
Why did you remove SAT0 to SATA?
And what is up with the multiple PGEP renames?
