Yes. 300 Series uses Kaby Lake audio controller, same as 200 Series. See post #1.

This worked for me beautifully. My issue was that no audio would play from any app (YouTube, any video, iTunes) - the position indicator would simply sit at zero. All of the Sound settings in System Preferences were visible and changeable.

I simply used the "Download:" link specified above, and used KextBeast to install both into /Library/Extensions. Reboot, and voila. BTW, I'm running High Sierra 10.13.2.
