Hi,
i just build my new Custom Mac and my Stuff will probably arrive today.
I currently preparing all stuff i can for installing El Capitan and Windows 10.

This is my build:
  • Intel Core i7-6700K Prozessor (8MB Cache, LGA1151, 4GHz)
  • MSI Mainboard Z170A GAMING M7 LGA1151 4x DDR4 max 64GB 4x PCI-E 3x PCI-E16x 2x
  • GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 980 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-E 3.0
  • Samsung 850 Evo SSD 500 GB
  • WD 1TB Blue
  • Crucial BLS2C8G4D240FSA RAM 16GB (2x 8GB, 288-polig, 2400MHz, CL16) DDR4-DIMM Kit
  • Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo (RR-212E-16PK-R1)
  • TP-Link TL-WDN4800 N900 WLAN Dual Band PCI-E Adapter
  • Logitech Z313 Audio
  • Samsung S27E510C 68,58 cm (27 Zoll) LED Curved Monitor
I'm searching for the right guide for my setup, i found this:
[GUIDE]El Capitan 10.11.2 On MSI Z170A Gaming M7, I7 6700K, GTX970

Does this guide also apply to my build? It says i should insert OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi. Why is this needed?

Or can i just follow the standard guide to install my Custom Mac?

I never made a hackintosh or custom mac so sorry if my questions are silly. :shifty:

Best
Waldi
