I recently set up a new build with OpenCore 0.7.6 and Big Sur, and I followed the OpenCore Post-Install Guide to set SecureBootModel to j185 to match my SMBIOS of iMac20,1 and add a unique ApECID value for Full Security.

However, I was looking over the OC guide's page on Monterey, and I saw this:
Hackintoshes which use a T2 SMBIOS MUST have OpenCore 0.7.4+ with SecureBootModel set to Default.

Also, in the OpenCore 0.7.3 > 0.7.4 differences, I saw this:
Misc >> Security >> changed Default SecureBootMode value to match SMBIOS model to fix Monterey updates. There is no need to change SecureBootModel value in the config, Default will work for everyone.

My question is since I'm using OC 0.7.6, should I have just left SecureBootModel set to Default in Big Sur, or do I just need to set it to Default for Monterey?

SecureBootModel set to 'Default' works for both Big Sur and Monterey.
