Hi, I have a quad monitor setup I just received for my GA-X58A-UD3R based hackintosh build.
Out of video cards, I got GTX 285 (installed and working - running 2 monitors right now) and HIS 7770 not installed. I also have GT9500 I believe, and maybe some other old dual dvi output Nvidia card (probably 9x series as well).
I run Yosemite with chimera right now.
What's the best approach to run quad monitors in my situation ?
one card by itself ?
HIS 7770 has 4 outputs (Hdmi, DVI, 2xminiDP) - I don't know which outputs are supported and which aren't.
Two cards together ?
GTX 285 + HIS or some other combination involving the old cards ?
Some other 4out card of older generations ?
I can go and buy GTX 670 for 150 if that's going to help ?
