Hi all,
After having followed the guide my sierra install is working fine.
But I do have some issues related to keyboard and touchpad:
- in system preferences touchpad entry is a blank screen; how can I fix it?
- for touchpad I really want to switch "on" tap to click functionality; how can I do that?
- keyboard binding entries are messed up; realized that we can change key bindings (way more messy way) but many people reported it also works fine after replace/copy a new kext?
- for keyboard's brightness button is there a way I can fix it without going through changing the key bindings?
Above all, I have read the latest available Lenovo Y50 guide that all kexts can be placed in the EFI folder /../ but what if we place the kexts in the S/L/E ? or just /L/E ? which one of the three is a sure hit?
Regarding above ^ I managed to enable(works fine!) my onboard Atheros 9565 wifi by installing the kexts in S/L/E using a kext utility. but doing the same thing in EFI folder didn't budge a thing
(if anyone wants I can share the files/steps)
Thanks!
