I've been using an HP Z440 workstation for a year or so now. I hate Windows 10 so i think it's time to try running High Sierra on it. I've came across this thread but it's not too clear what the outcome was. Has anyone previously tried OS X on the 4th Generation Z400 series?

Am i the first?!

Mine has a 6-core x99 Xeon, 64GB of RAM, a GTX 770Ti and a 256GB NVMe SSD. (And a Marvell RAID array but not fussed about that.)

I have been using Z440 as hackingtosh for at least 2 years, super stable, everything works perfectly. let me know if you need any help.

After following an X99 guide, i've got it working - it's excellent!

i am attaching my latest clover folder, it contains all necessary x99 patches for z440, you can reference it.

voodoo HDA 2.90 works perfectly for Z440 ACL audio device, others devices just working out of the box with the attached clover folder.

@hidinmask has anyone tried to install mojave on Z440? if so, anyone willing to post a rock solid EFI? the one hidinmask posted worked perfectly and can't thank you enough.

Do you have Intel Xenon E5 v3 or V4?

I also want to install High Sierra on my Z440 workstation.
I have Intel Xeon E5 1620 v4, 16 GB 2400Mhz and AMD FirePro W2100.
What is your BIOS configuration?

My attempts to install using hidinmask files are failed.

Any ideas?
