Hello community

I have installed both Mavericks 10.9.5 and Yosemite 10.10.3 on my probook 640 G1 (4300m, hd4600, 4gb, ssd 60gb...) with the clover guide and it works great, just swapped the wifi module and the hd for an ssd and it flies

i had some issues at yosemite with the battery indicator that seem like a common error with 10.10.3, so i decided to use 10.9.5 as my OS

the problem is that i can't get video out through display port or vga, no matter what cable or adapter i use (i have tried several on different tv´s/monitors), and i can't find how to fix this...

this happened in both yosemite and mavericks... in yosemite kernel panic´d when i plug/unplug the display port cable (in mavericks nothing happens)

anyone faced something similar? i had a 8460p with worked with display port without any extra work...

thank you

VGA is not supported.

Use only DP with a digital connection to the monitor (eg. HDMI or DP).

Please do not make duplicate posts in different forums. It is against the rules you agreed to when you registered for the site: http://www.tonymacx86.com/faq.php

sorry about double posting :S

the DP is connected to a AOC monitor trough DP-DP cable and also to a LG TV trough a DP-Hdmi cable; with the same results; nothing is detected on the probook...

Post the config.plist you're using.

Also ioreg with the monitor connected.

Post ioreg: http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/58368-guide-how-make-copy-ioreg.html. Please, use the IORegistryExplorer v2.1 attached to the post! DO NOT reply with an ioreg from any other version of IORegistryExplorer.app.

here you can see my config.plist and ioreg with display port attached

Weird that FakePCIID is not loaded against IGPU device. Stranger still that the accelerator is loaded (AppleIntelHD5000Graphics.kext), as it won't load without patching or without FakePCIID.

It implies you have a patched AppleIntelHD5000Graphics.kext on-disk, which is not the way PBI-CE does it (it uses FakePCIID).

Did you follow the guide?

yes, i followed the guide step by step, i used the config.plist from hd4400/4600 folder

and the installation with the probook installer with these settings:
-Clover Uefi
-OS X support kexts: 6x0 selection
-Config and DSDT: 6x0
-SSDT
-some tools

and thats it

Clearly not. Explain why you don't have FakePCIID and yet the kexts are loaded...

Also, I think your AppleACPIPlatform.kext is not correct. The Yosemite version does not inject "ACPI Tables" into ioreg, yet yours shows it injected.

You've got something fishy going on. Do a fresh install. Follow the guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/hp-proboo...-install-yosemite-hp-laptops-clover-uefi.html

sorry, but i think maybe i didn't explain myself right...

the ioreg i´ve uploaded is from mavericks, not yosemite (i have installed both on different ssd, but finally decided to keep mavericks, as it worked better and didn't have the battery indicator problem)

You're posting in the Yosemite forum. Mavericks questions should be asked in the appropriate Mavericks forum.

Try Yosemite. Compare results. If you wish to continue with Mavericks, I'll move this thread to the appropriate forum.
