I have a 4440S with Celeron B840 CPU. I followed the guide and ensured that in the BIOS, I disabled virtualization, enabled AHCI and legacy USB.

When the USB installer (Mavericks) boots up, I get the message "Still waiting for root device". :(

I tried the boot flags but I get the same problem:

PCIRootUID=0 GraphicsEnabler=No -x -v

Is there anyway to fix boot into the installer?

Celeron is not supported. It doesn't have a supported graphics capability (it is not HD3000/HD4000).

You could replace the CPU with one that is supported (Core i-series).
