Hello everyone,

Today, I got my Hackintosh running. Graphic problems are fixed. The only problem I have at the moment is the audio.

I've installed the drivers with this guide: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/applehda-realtek-audio-guide.234732/#post-1606764

With:
II. AppleHDA Realtek Audio Methods

After a reboot, there were new options in the sound settings (screen attached), but the sound doesn't work. Youtube Videos don't start and iTunes also.

I hope you have a idea how i can fix that ;-).

I would be very happy when i get this (hopefully last) problem fixed and don't have to use my slow Original Mac xD

I connected a Bluetooth USB Stick and with this Musik plays perfect with my BT Soundsystem.
so its caused by drivers or something like this.

on my mainboard theres a realtek alc887 (8-canal).

But what has the kaby lake audio with the mainboard audio to do?

Is there a way to remove the installed drivers (installed with the script from the link)

I'm so hoping that we get this problem fixed, maybe I'm donating a bit to support tonymac ;-)

Speaker Works ;-). But the microphone doesn't work. Do i have to install something else for this?

The microphone input on the back works, but the front panel not.

Ideas?

Is there a red light on the optical cable when not connected?
Connected to what? What are the symptoms? What did you do?

post #7 is about the optical output and not the front microphone input?
