Problems upgrade from Mojave to Catalina

Try to to upgrade from Mojave to Catalina, run the setup fine, then on the first boot on the boot install OS it get stuck at the apple logo boot icon about 1% and doesn't do anything else, left it all night. Haven't seen anything raised like this, or i've missed them. Upgrade with out a problem with all other MacOS to date.

Any assistance would be gratefully received

Boot in verbose mode and post a picture of the screen here when it stops.

Did you boot in safe mode ?
If so, please boot normally and post a picture.

This suggests that you need to download SSDT-EC.aml and add it to /EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched.

Are they the latest as they were created in 2012 ?

Hi P1lgrim, thanks for the info, added the patch, which got me past the initial problem, but no get a panic attack and system reboots. So I have decided to wait a while until there's a full version of multi beast for Catalina & going back to Mojave.

No I booted normally with the -V setting to get the out put

I've now given up with the upgrade, I added the patches which then cause PANIC AND CRASHED WITH A reboot. I can't see why its crashed either.

I can now boot in safe mode, I added whatevergreen 1.3.4 which mention fixes for AMD Radeon GPU I have RX 570 8 GB but still panic
