Hi all,
I have a Rampage VI Extreme, and I just updated the BIOS to 1603.

It turns out that now I have difficulty booting. The system gets into random kernel panics, and posts a ton of the following:
TIMEOUT numcmd=1,sent=1,received=0

And when it finally boots, there is no USB device functioning. So I can not get any logs to open and view what is going on (though I do not have any expertise to understand them either).
Also I can see as the desktop loads that the GPU drivers are not loading either.

Fortunately, the other BIOS chip still has the 1503 version, from which I can boot up just fine.

My specs are:
Rampage VI Extreme
7980XE
128GB
High Sierra, 10.13.6
Zotac GTX 1050 Ti

A BIOS update will reset all the settings you previously made so you need to recreate those changes in your updated BIOS.
Yeah did that. It seems that 1603 is the issue
