Graphics
GTX1060

  1. MacBook Pro

My build:
Gigabyte Z170N-wifi
16GB DDR4 Vengeance
GTX 760 OC MSI
i5 6600k
Samsung Evo 840 250GB
Corsair 550W PSU

I did everything like in the installation guide except the part: "first make sure you're using a USB 2.0 port" (I only have USB 3.0)
Because I have a GTX 760 I also entered the extra boot flag "nv_disable=1"
Also disabled what I have to disable in the BIOS.

BUT When I choose
Boot Mac OS X from USB, the grey apple logo appears and a progress bar but the progress bar won't move

WELP Please!!!

Ask for extra information if needed. c:

Then why are you posting in the Buying Advice forum ?
Oh my god I'm so sorry, I'm new here and failed xd
Can you move this thread in another section or just close it?
I'm so sorry!

Moved to Desktop Support.

Boot in verbose mode and post a picture of the screen when it stops.

BTW : The GTX760 has native support - You don't need nv_disable=1.

You need to install using USB 2.0 memory stick and that will force the motherboard to use USB 2.0 protocol for OS X to recognize.

I think I should try to get a usb 2.0, or can I just disable 3.0?
