Hello guys, I'm on El Capitan (10,11,1), with my R9 290X (Gigabyte version)
I use this settings in config.plist
FBName : Baladi
Ati Connectors Controller : 8000
Ati Connectors Data : 000400000403000000010300120403030004000004030000000101001102010100040000040300000001020021030202000400000403000000010400220504040004000004030000000105001000050500040000040300000001060020010606
Ati Connectors Patch : 000400000403000000010100120402010400000014020000000102001102010400040000040300000001050021030202000800000002000000010300220503030400000014020000000104001000060600040000040300000001060020010605
Inject Ati : true

My card is recognize like a R9 290X,(fans work ? I think yes, because I hear some noise when I make a GPU test), but there are graphics artefacts.. (I've found a solution > Just change the resolution (like 1360x768), and back to the native resolution (1080p))
And I can't use two screen (2xDVI) >> After boot with one screen, I can switch on the second screen but he stay black.. OS X recognize 2 screens, and I can move a program on the second screen

Any help ? Thanks :D
(Sorry for my bad English, I'm French)

We could start the unhappy R9 290X owner's club, but no, this card is really good.
We just need to find the right framebuffer and ports patching...

I can witness this is one of the best cards for final Cut Pro X / Compressor encoding.
I didn't find yet a video encoder able to fully use it.... rare are the openCL encoders...

(i'm french too)

Salut !

Yeah, I've found a solution for my AMD R9 290X GV-R929XOC-4GD (Gigabyte ; 2 DVI-D ; 1 HDMI ; 1 DisplayPort)

DUAL SCREEN WORK (2 DVI-D)

For dual screen, boot with one screen, after login, plug the second screen ;)

For graphic artifacts > J
ust change the resolution (1360x768), and back to the native resolution (1080p)

Would you be willing to post your current config.plist from clover? I've also got an X58 system that I'm trying (without luck) to get working with a R9 290-- and might attempt with an R9 290x if I get a chance.
