Problem installing Mavericks, black screen - GA-X79s-UP5 - I7-4820K

Hi guys! i need help!
I just finished to assemble my new workstation where i tried to install OS X Mavericks unfortunately without good result
My hardware is:

MainBoard = ga-x79s-up5-wifi v1.0
CPU = i7-4820k
RAM = 16GB G-Skill
VGA = GTX 580

When i try to start installer from my usb pen computer boot into a black screen and i can't install anything...
I tried differend boot flags: -v -x UseKernelCache=No -f ncpi=0x3000 GraphicsEnabler=Yes

Someone can help me?

hi! PLEASE HELP ME, i have this mother GA-X79S-UP5, i install maverick 10.9.3
all work perfect, but this is the problem.

i need to connect more than 8 hard disk, so, i need use the 8 SAS CONNECTORS, non RAID, individually hard disk.
when i connect hard disk in SAS connectors, the colour grey connectors, they arent recognizes it, didnt appeare in finder and disk utility.

can you???? can you try this???

you solve this problem??? a lot of people didnt know this, and i dont know what to do.

please help me.

Unfortunately, the SAS ports are not usable. I don't believe there are drivers (kexts) for them on the chipset for this motherboard.. I have the same board and everything I have read says that its not possible... Sorry.....

Hi,

Try adding USBBusFix=Yes to your flags.

Also ensure that you disable VT- options in bios.


With regards to the SAS ports... The likelihood of getting those working in OS X are slim at best.
