Problem during the combo update 10.6.8

Today i tried to install the 10.6.8 combo update but at the end of the installation all the screen become black i tried to reboot but nothing... I have an nvidia geo force 8400M gs

hi there is your cpu a sandy bridge as if so you would have need to run update helper before the x 6.8 update . get it from down loads here http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewforum.php?f=125 Remember chat is never to far away

My cpu is a Intel centrino 2 duo.... If i upgrade to 10.6.7 will i have the same problem?? (sorry for my english)
