Premiere Pro crashing on startup

I am having a problem getting premiere pro CC to start. It loads, but when I load a project, it instantly crashes every time. I have had no other problems with the other CC programs. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck. Any ideas?

Does this happen with EVERY project you load? It could be a corrupted project file.

Otherwise, you'll just have to eliminate problems.

Try trashing preferences/application data/cache/etc.
Try doing a full uninstall (using Adobe uninstall tools) and reinstall.
Eliminate hardware conflicts by removing as much hardware as possible and seeing if the problem still occurs (you might want to try a different GPU if you have a spare compatible card).

It really could be absolutely anything...

I actually solved the problem with the help of some of the people in the Adobe Forums. It ended up being that premiere, seeing the graphics cards, activated OpenCL as part of the render settings. I had to change it to nVidia CUDA and voila! I have Premiere up and running and i don't ever have to render thanks to the hardware acceleration. Its like a dream come true!
