Hi everybody,
I'm going to mod an old G5 liquid edition in order to fit a z97-hd3 MB with an "old" i5-4690k processor....
My goal is to modify as little as possible this fantastic case.
My specs will be very orrible, 'cause I'll use only found objects coming from old disassembled pc or ordered by mistake.
So I'll fit in this:
Gigabyte z97-hd3 MB,
I5-4690k or 4590 (The only thing I'll buy),
arctic freezer 7 pro rev. 2
2 x arctic f9 92mm,
MSI gt740,
DVD-RW,
2x 500gb sata HD (Waiting for ssd),
300w 20pin psu.
(In future I would expand and reuse this case for other specs.)
I started with disassembling everything in the case. And my first work was to fit the PowerSupply in the original PSU.
I opened and disassembled the old PSU and the new and the I fit the new.
The old PSU was full of dust.
See them:

After cleaner operation and fitting the 300w PSU.

I wasn't able to reuse the original white attack, because I'm from europe and the plug was american.

I'm going to show you all the work.

Remember to use caution whenever modding the PSU. Some may think it is an easy task, but things can go wrong very quickly if you are not familiar with it.
Other than that I look forward to seeing the finished product :)
