Hey everyone I have a question in regards to the front I/O panel. I cut the cable today and split all the wires apart and for some reason it seems off to me. Do I have the wires labeled right or am I way off?

I am thinking this is right because I assume that the exposed wires are grounds. I think that I may have cut the wrong end of the connector though. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hey everyone, got a few updates to my project. I received my power supply (I went with a corsair hx650) and my mountain mods motherboard tray in the mail. I just cut the back panel last night and just need to place my standoffs. Here are some updated pics.

Here is before I did anything.

This is where I cut the mountain mods tray to fit.

Test fitting where the back panel will go.

30 minutes and about 20 dremel discs later and the back is cut

Fits like a glove

I wanted to keep as much of the original aluminum as possible so thats why I cut so much off of the mountain mods tray. I don't care for the color so I am going to try sandblasting (or soda blasting) the scrap piece that I cut off and see if that matches better. If not then I will look into spray paint. One question I had was about the standoffs. Mine did not come with any screws, does anyone know what size the tall ones use?

As always thanks for looking.

They are 3.5mm threads. I have some extras that I am willing to SEND you (mods note that that is send, not sell). I had to purchase a bag of 100 so I have 96 extras.

Hey everyone, sorry for so long without an update. I did a stint for utilizing the sites pm feature (I guess if someone wants to send me free screws I better post my address on here next time) Heads up for everyone though, the pm service is a trap to get you banned (its there for ascetics.)
Well I got my power supply and installed it in my case so here are the pics of that process.

I couldn't deal with looking at that label upside down so I had to change it.

So out came the heat gun. Looks much better

I left the warranty screw in just in case something happens to the PSU, no point in voiding a warranty.

Well next up is Motherboard standoffs and starting work on my hard drive cage. I ordered my corsair back plates last week but their shipping is slower than ever.
As always thanks for viewing.

I really want to do it! How did you remove it cleanly while retaining the adhesive exactly?

I took my harbor freight heat gun and ran it over the whole label for a couple seconds on low. DO NOT hold it too close to the label or it will warp it. Then I took a razor blade and got the corner started and then peeled the rest off by hand.
