Powermac G5 ATX Mod in Audi RS6 Gray

Hey guys,

wanted to share my G5 Mod with you. I'm really happy with the result and kinda proud of it

I bought the main conversion parts at the Laser Hive (Full ATX with PSU mount, fan grill and Front Panel)
and I really can recommend these. Even someone who's not into that mechanical stuff (like me lol) can rather easily convert a G5 Case to ATX. In addition I wanted to have a little personal touch so I painted the case in original Audi RS6 Daytonagray matt. My local car painter did a really got job, I love it.

The conversion wasn't quite cheap though, 75€ for the case itself (which was used but in REALLY good condition, quasi new), 180€ for the Laserhive parts and about 120€ for the paintjob, plus 20 bucks for several small stuff = 395,00 €. But it was worth it.

Aww yeah, that is one classy paint job.

I aim to get mine painted "Space Gray" like the new MacBooks, maybe a tad darker, complete with polished Apple logo.

Nice color. I am thinking of using gun metal gray. but i still love the black along with the original G5 color.

I was also thinking before of using Gold and Black. XD
