still a bit of tidying up to do and some decisions on painting some parts, but I'm happy with the machine and its outcome as a case mod, clearly still a bit of work to go. Deciding where to place the PSU took a week of pondering, id seen others who had gone for shuttle PSU's but I wanted more power...just in case.
I found someone else who put it on the door...so....

System installed is:
Intel Core i5 3.2Ghz quad core Haswell
4GB 1600MHz Ram
Intel 4600HD Graphics
two HDD one is a 320GB drive from my Macbook Pro (upgraded macbook pro to SSD 256) 2.5"
and the other a seagate barracuda 1TB 7200 3.5"
Running OSX 10.9.2 'Mavericks'

OK, almost complete now, as you can see from the above pictures I've gone for a subtle colour scheme.
I am happy with my first mod `hackintosh'. upgraded to 10.9.3 and all is well.

Now running 10.11.4 all smooth, upgraded to nVidia GTX 650 graphic card (1024mb), had to cut the plastic heat sink guard to make it fit, now on 8GB RAM, added a wifi pci card, as was having issues running a USB wifi dongle, App store didn't work.
Switch the OSX boot drive on to SSD and added another 2TB WD hard drive.
evolution.

Now running El Captain - still running strong.
