Hi all, I'm in the process of putting together a MacPro equivalent. I'll be running with the following :
I have all my data on a Pegasus R6 unit (hence the need for Thunderbolt on the MB) and as a result will only need to power a single 240Gb drive for OS & applications.
Can someone advise on the sort of power requirements for this setup and also advise on the potential benefits of spending more on a PSU. I'm considering a Corsair RM650 but a mate has just bought a Corsair AX1200i unit saying it should give him more future proofing. It's a lot more expensive - is this completely overkill or a wise investment. Thanks
