Power button atx mod

Hi everyone,

I'm modding my Mac pro 2008 right now, and I was wondering if there is any chance to connect the power button directly to the atx board - without using the front panel's board...

Any ideas?

i cut the power button out and put it on the top of case, connected wires to ATX mainboard

My God man! You don't get enough props. I was checking out your full case build and that thing is beautiful! Love the attention to detail you got there. The style may not be for everyone but I can tell you put a bunch of time on filing, sanding and painting, and I love it.
