Powdercoating the G5 case!

Jeff, I would like to thank you for the advice about powder-coating. I decided to go with a semi-gloss black. The case came out beautifully, the only thing I need to do is clean up the cables. I plan on MDPCX individually wrapping the cables in a black/navy blue & black combo. Let me say to anyone interested in taking on this project it is very time consuming. It took me probably about 40 hrs to complete because the G5 case I purchased was in terrible condition; contained deep scratches, corrosion, rust, and strange iridescent goo (wear nitrile gloves lol).

So I know this is a very old thread but I've
Always wanted to do this and I finally got around to doing it

It's not quite finnished yet (I have a few more tricks up my sleeve)

Anybody know what I should do with the plastic non-slip feet on the base of the case if I'm planning to get it powder-coated?

Yes, I'm wondering that as well! I have a G5 case I'm stripping/modding and want to powder coat, but I'm at an impasse with those little plastic skids under the base. They seem to be on really tight. Any techniques for how to remove them? Just a chisel?
